Housing is my passion. I have spent the last ten years living it from every side: six at the Colorado Housing and Finance Authority, two inside Yardi, the software company most agencies run on, and the rest at housing authorities, including as Deputy Director of the Housing Choice Voucher program at the Denver Housing Authority. I have sat on both sides of the counter.

At every one of those jobs I ended up saying the same thing: there has got to be a better way. So where I could, I built one. Better processes, better systems, better tools for the people around me. AI Housers is that habit, turned into a company.

Houser, our first publicly launched product, started with the question housers ask each other every day: where does it actually say that? The honest answer was usually forty minutes on HUDCLIPS and a PDF I half-trusted. Houser answers with the citation, the source open next to the answer, and a clear flag when guidance has been superseded. Every AI Housers product is held to that standard.

Before housing, I worked for the U.S. Department of State, helping students find their way to American universities. I learned there what it means to handle sensitive information when people’s safety depends on it. That is where the data rules in everything we build and teach come from. They are strict, specific, and traceable to the notice that requires them.

I teach too: AI classes for Colorado NAHRO in 2025 and 2026, and classes for CHFA’s chfareach program, the same program whose memberships I had the privilege of administering when I started at CHFA. And I am a student too, pursuing a master’s in artificial intelligence and machine learning at Colorado State University Global.
